You - I

I fear for you; for what you would do
Could do, are capable of doing.
You bottle everything up
For words are not your forte,
But emotions can´t be held forever.
You need time to think
Time to be alone, yet
You spend most of your time in loneliness.
I sit waiting for the explosion: -
For one of my friends to turn to me
And say, “Did you hear what happened…”

Him in the past

He looks around him with clouded eyes
Waiting, patiently for what is to come.
His past he hopes will stay where he left it
Though he carries it in his mind with
Every waking moment.
At night his nightmares haunt him:
A nightmare being when a dream
And a fear meet; but then his fears
Are numerous yet identical.
A dangerous man is that one
Who fears nothing,
For fear controls and commands.
A fearless man risks everything
For he has nothing to lose.
It is better to have done and known
Than to not do and forever wonder,
For an experience can never be pondered
In the total negativity of its meaning
With which one can wonder about
Something one doesn´t or hasn´t done.
